Roles & Responsibilities
Prepare the operating room by setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies, ensuring a sterile and organized environment for procedures.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technicians to anticipate and meet the needs of the surgical team throughout the operation.
Administer medications and intravenous fluids as prescribed, adhering to strict protocols and ensuring accurate documentation.
Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition during surgery, providing immediate interventions as necessary to maintain stability.
Assist surgeons with surgical procedures, passing instruments, retracting tissues, and providing other support as required.
Desired Candidate Profile
Possesses a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license from an accredited nursing program.
Holds a current Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) certification, showcasing specialized knowledge and expertise.
Requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting, demonstrating proficiency in surgical nursing.
Demonstrates exceptional technical skills in handling surgical instruments, equipment, and performing surgical assisting tasks.
