Job Summary:
A skilled and detail-oriented Operating Room Nurse with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and 4 years of experience specializing in plastic surgery procedures. Responsible for providing perioperative care, ensuring patient safety, and assisting surgical teams during cosmetic and reconstructive procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare operating rooms for plastic surgery procedures, ensuring all instruments and equipment are sterile and ready
Assist surgeons during operations such as cosmetic, reconstructive, and aesthetic procedures
Monitor patients’ vital signs before, during, and after surgery
Maintain strict adherence to infection control and sterilization protocols
Provide preoperative and postoperative patient care and education
Coordinate with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals
Ensure accurate documentation of surgical procedures and patient records
Handle surgical instruments and anticipate surgeon needs during procedures
Respond quickly to any emergencies or complications in the operating room
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Valid nursing license
Minimum 4 years of experience in the operating room, preferably in plastic surgery
Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and sterile techniques
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced surgical environments
Skills:
