Position overview

As an oral and dental surgeon in a private healthcare facility, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating complex oral and dental conditions through various surgical procedures. Key responsibilities

Perform thorough evaluations and diagnose oral health issues using diagnostic tools

Develop customized treatment plans aimed at addressing individual patient needs

Execute a range of surgical procedures, including tooth extractions, dental implants, and reconstructive surgeries

Manage postoperative care, including monitoring recovery and addressing complications

Educate patients on treatment options, procedures, and proper aftercare

Stay informed about the latest advancements in dental surgery and best practices

Requirements

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) with specialization in oral and maxillofacial surgery

Active state dental license and board certification in oral surgery

A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a clinical surgical environment, preferably within a private healthcare facility

Proficient in a wide range of oral and dental surgical procedures

Strong understanding of patient safety protocols and ethical standards in surgery

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
