Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine patients' oral health requirements.
Perform a variety of oral surgical procedures, including tooth extractions, implants, and corrective surgeries.
Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to ensure optimal patient recovery.
Educate patients and their families about treatment options, procedures, and oral health maintenance.
Collaborate with other dental professionals to design and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Maintain accurate patient records and follow safety regulations to ensure a sterile environment.
Commit to ongoing professional development and training in oral surgery innovations.
Requirements
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from an accredited dental school.
Completion of an oral and maxillofacial surgery residency program.
Board certification in oral surgery is preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a surgical or clinical setting.
Demonstrated surgical skills and a patient-first approach to care.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple cases efficiently.
Valid dental license and compliance with necessary state regulations.
