Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments through thorough clinical evaluations and diagnostic imaging to determine patients' surgical needs.
Formulate and implement customized treatment plans for surgical patients.
Perform a variety of surgical interventions with a focus on maximizing patient comfort and safety.
Oversee comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care.
Collaborate with dental specialists for an integrated approach to patient treatment.
Provide education to patients and their families regarding surgical procedures and recovery.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in oral and maxillofacial surgery practices.
Requirements
D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree from a recognized dental school.
Completion of an accredited residency program in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
Current board certification and state dental licensure.
At least 5 years of clinical practice in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
Extensive surgical experience with proven skills in various techniques.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills focused on patient interaction.
Commitment to ongoing education and improving patient care standards.
