Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough medical evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for pediatric patients from newborns to adolescents.
Provide preventive healthcare services, including immunizations, developmental screenings, and growth monitoring.
Manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions such as asthma, diabetes, allergies, infections, and neurodevelopmental disorders.
Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date electronic medical records in compliance with DOH and HAAD standards.
Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams (including nurses, dietitians, and therapists) to develop individualized care plans.
Participate in health education sessions and community outreach programs to promote child wellness and disease prevention.
Stay current with medical advancements, clinical guidelines, and regulatory updates in pediatric medicine.
Ensure adherence to ethical standards, patient safety protocols, and quality assurance practices within the facility.
Contribute to internal audits, performance reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Prioritize patient satisfaction and deliver culturally competent care in alignment with local healthcare norms.
Requirements
MBBS or equivalent medical degree with postgraduate specialization in Paediatrics.
Valid and active HAAD or DOH license (mandatory).
Minimum 4 5 years of proven clinical experience in pediatric care, preferably in the UAE, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in Al Ain.
Proficiency in Arabic (written and spoken) and English (verbal and written) is essential.
Demonstrated experience in managing common and complex pediatric conditions in a clinical or hospital setting.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust with children and parents.
Male candidates are preferred for this role.
Commitment to professional ethics, patient confidentiality, and continuous learning.
Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment with flexible scheduling as required.
Note: Candidates must be Arab nationals and possess a valid DOH license to be considered.
