Requirements

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution

Completed residency in general surgery and fellowship in pediatric surgery

Board certification or eligibility in pediatric surgery

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in pediatric surgical practice

Demonstrated proficiency in a variety of pediatric surgical techniques

Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective family engagement

A compassionate, patient-centered approach to care

Current and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state

Dedication to staying updated on advancements in pediatric surgery

Ability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare team
