Key responsibilities:
Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments to diagnose mental health conditions.
Develop, implement, and manage effective treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
Provide psychotherapy, medication management, and support to patients across a range of mental health challenges.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers, and primary care providers, to deliver holistic patient care.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation in line with healthcare regulations.
Participate in case discussions and contribute to the development of treatment protocols and best practices.
Stay current with the latest research and trends in psychiatry to inform clinical practice.
Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and support resources.
Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines and professional standards in all patient interactions.
Requirements
Medical degree with a valid psychiatry license.
Completion of residency training in psychiatry.
Experience in diagnosing and treating a variety of mental health disorders within a hospital or healthcare setting.
Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and therapeutic modalities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Empathy and a patient-centered approach to care.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Commitment to continuous professional development and keeping up with advancements in the field.
