We are looking for a talented and compassionate radiation oncologist to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will provide expert care to patients undergoing treatment for cancer. Your responsibilities will include designing individualized radiation therapy plans, collaborating with medical and support teams, and delivering care with the highest standards of compassion and professionalism.

Key responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess the need for radiation therapy and develop appropriate treatment plans.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Administer radiation treatments while monitoring patient progress and adjusting plans as necessary.

Communicate effectively with patients and their families about treatment processes, potential side effects, and recovery.

Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient treatments and outcomes.

Engage in research and clinical trials to advance the knowledge and practice of radiation oncology.

Stay informed about new technologies and treatment protocols in radiation therapy.

Requirements

MD or DO from an accredited medical school

Board certification in radiation oncology is required

Active and valid medical license in the relevant state

A minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical radiation oncology setting

Strong knowledge of radiation therapy techniques and modern treatment modalities

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with patients and healthcare teams

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinic environment

Commitment to continuous education and staying updated with industry advancements

Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus
