Responsibilities and primary activities
Guide country Research Division GMSA staff to execute the annual scientific and medical plan for gynecological cancer
Chair the Regional Medical Affairs Team (RMAT) to ensure execution of agreed medical tactics and leverage best practices
Ensure scientific exchange is aligned with the global scientific communications platform
Partner with regional Commercial, regional Outcomes Research, regional Policy, and regional Market Access to drive development and execution of regional plans
Consolidate actionable medical insights
Engage with a network of scientific leaders and other key stakeholders (therapeutic guideline committees, payers, public groups, government officials, medical societies)
Support as regional therapeutic area expert affiliates staff in engagement with their national scientific leaders
Organize regional expert input events to answer company questions regarding how to implement new indications: advisory boards and group input meetings
Required qualifications, skills, and experience
Minimum:
MD, PhD, or PharmD background
Medical expertise in oncology therapeutic area
Five years experience in medical affairs role in country or region
Strong prioritization and decision-making skills
Able to effectively collaborate with partners across divisions in a matrix environment
Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills (written as well as oral) in addition to results-oriented project management skills
