Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position located in the Greater Adelaide Area. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care, monitoring resident health, and administering medications. Key tasks include developing and implementing care plans, coordinating with healthcare professionals, maintaining accurate medical records, and supporting the emotional and physical well-being of residents. The role also involves supervising and mentoring care staff to ensure high standards of service delivery.
Qualifications
Competence in clinical tasks such as administering medications, wound care, and monitoring vital signs
Ability to develop and manage individualized care plans
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with residents, families, and team members
Leadership abilities to supervise and mentor support staff
Knowledge of aged care regulations and compliance requirements
Empathy and cultural sensitivity, particularly with regard to the values and traditions of the Greek community
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Certifications in First Aid and CPR
Previous experience in aged care or related fields is highly desirable
