The Department of Surgery at the University Hospital Erlangen, with its clinics and divisions (general, visceral, cardiac, trauma, plastic, hand, vascular, thoracic, urology, and oral and maxillofacial surgery), offers fascinating insights into the complex world of modern surgery.

Our nursing staff, working in interdisciplinary teams on the wards, in the surgical center, and in functional areas, provide respectful, dedicated, and highly skilled care for the benefit of our patients.

The tasks

In accordance with our nursing standards, you will ensure the best possible care for our patients.

For this, you will work cooperatively and supportively within the therapeutic team.

They use the electronic patient record for performance tracking and documentation and actively support the development of quality care.

You will actively participate in the practical training of various health professions, imparting knowledge and skills.

They are responsible for assessing individual care needs and designing the care process accordingly. In doing so, they focus on the resources of their patients.

Successfully completed training as a health and nursing care professional (m/f/d)

Additional advantages

In addition to the aforementioned qualifications, you already have prior experience in the field of nursing in a hospital.

Ideally, you would have successfully completed further training in emergency nursing, or be willing to complete such training.
