Bowral Hospital is looking for passionate and dedicated Registered Nurses to join our inpatient team. In this role, you will critically assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with a skilled multidisciplinary team. Your work will focus on delivering evidence based, culturally appropriate care that enhances patient outcomes, while maintaining strong communication and professional standards that support safe, high quality healthcare.

Critically assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care using evidence based and culturally appropriate practices

Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to achieve quality patient outcomes

Communicate effectively in a person centred manner with patients, carers and colleagues

Uphold clinical practice standards while engaging in continuous professional development

Selection Criteria

To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.

Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Demonstrated recent experience as a Registered Nurse in an environment appropriate to the relevant speciality.

Demonstrated ability to provide safe compassionate quality care that is culturally responsive.

Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and engage with patients/consumers, carers and the multidisciplinary health care team to identify and ensure responsiveness of care needs.

Demonstrated capacity to interact with others in a personable and professional manner and personally resolve conflicts when they arise.

Demonstrated evidence of the use of critical thinking as it relates to the delivery of evidenced based nursing care.

Demonstrated understanding and participation in risk management, work health and safety and quality improvement in the workplace.
