Roles & Responsibilities
Conduct thorough infection risk assessments across all clinical areas, identifying vulnerabilities and implementing targeted interventions.
Develop and implement evidence-based infection prevention and control protocols, ensuring alignment with national and international guidelines.
Investigate healthcare-associated infections (HAIs), including outbreak management, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning.
Provide expert consultation and education to healthcare professionals on infection prevention and control practices, including hand hygiene and PPE.
Desired Candidate Profile
Possesses a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
Holds current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure and is in good standing.
Certified in Infection Prevention and Control (CIC) or eligible to obtain certification within a specified timeframe.
Demonstrates a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, preferably in an acute care setting.
