Brief introduction and your tasks
Comprehensive nursing care for trauma surgery and plastic surgery patients of all ages – from adolescents and young adults to geriatric patients.
Pre- and postoperative care and monitoring after trauma surgery and plastic surgery procedures
Nursing and care of conservatively treated patients (e.g. fractures, soft tissue injuries, immobilizations)
Performing demanding and complex dressing changes, including wound assessment, aseptic technique and appropriate documentation
Pain management, mobilization measures and support during rehabilitation
Close interdisciplinary collaboration with doctors, physiotherapy, social services and other professional groups
Advice and guidance for patients and relatives in the care and recovery process
Ensuring proper care documentation and compliance with quality and hygiene standards.

Completed examination as a nursing professional
Interest or experience in the field of trauma surgery / orthopedics / plastic surgery
Professional competence in dressing changes or willingness to develop further in this demanding field.
High degree of flexibility, resilience and sense of responsibility
Empathy in dealing with patients in acute and often painful situations
Teamwork skills, as well as an independent and structured work style.
