The Dachstiftung Diakonie is seeking a candidate for the Christinenstift nursing and care home (part of Diakonische Altenhilfe Kästorf GmbH) in Gifhorn. We are looking to fill the following position at the earliest possible date:

Certified Nursing Professional (m/f/d)

Function: Residential Area Manager (Wohnbereichsleitung)

Working Hours: Full-time

Contract Duration: Permanent

Pay Grade: E8 TVDN plus nursing allowance, annual bonus, child allowance (if applicable), shift allowance, and surcharges for Sundays and public holidays.

The Christinenstift facility consists of a residential area with a total of 54 residents, 18 of whom live in a protected dementia care unit.

Your Tasks

Planning and coordination of staff deployment within the residential area.

Ensuring quality assurance measures are met.

Establishing and maintaining an effective communication structure.

Responsibility for and implementation of care according to the nursing process.

Liaising with physicians, clinics, and maintaining communication with residents' families.

Your Profile

You don’t have to master everything yet, but your profile should align with the following:

Completed vocational training as a Geriatric Nurse or Healthcare and Nursing Specialist.

Additional qualification as a "Leading Specialist in Nursing" (Leitende Fachkraft) is desirable; otherwise, a willingness to undergo corresponding further training.

Professional experience as a Residential Area Manager is preferred.

Experience in caring for residents with dementia is desirable.

Strong assertiveness, commitment, and initiative.

Resilience in crisis situations.
