Almond Valley Care Home is a purpose built 66 bed care home located in Almondside, Livingston. Providing Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care, the home offers a modern, high quality environment where team members can deliver person centred care, develop their skills and be part of a supportive and welcoming team.

Registered Nurse – Nightshift

£22.88 per hour

44 hours per week

Paid breaks, Paid NMC fees, Paid PVG

Pension, Uniform provided, Onsite parking

5.6 weeks annual leave based on a full time contract

Role Overview

As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver high quality, person centred care, ensuring residents’ safety, dignity and wellbeing are always prioritised. You will assess residents’ needs, develop and review care plans, administer medication safely and monitor any changes in physical and mental health.

You will lead the night team, ensuring smooth shift coordination, effective handovers and a calm, safe environment throughout the home. You will respond to clinical needs and emergencies, while building strong relationships with residents, families and colleagues to ensure continuity of care.

Your role will focus on promoting independence, supporting wellbeing and creating a reassuring environment where residents feel safe and valued throughout the night.

What We Are Looking For

Registered General Nurse or Registered Mental Health Nurse with an active NMC PIN

Strong clinical knowledge and a commitment to high quality care

Ability to lead and support a team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Compassionate, professional and resident focused approach
