Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary:

Coordinates and administers clinical research studies and investigator initiated or industry sponsored trials. Typical duties may include: protocol development; identifying study participants; carrying out patient visits; data input and analysis; conducting laboratory procedures; completing research ethics submissions and amendments; and other duties required to support clinical trials.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor Degree in Nursing (western standard)

Current licensure (RN) with a nursing governing body from the employee s country of origin.

Minimum three (3) years experience as a clinical research coordinator or in a medical/clinical field, which includes involvement in clinical research.

Specialist & Personal Skills:

Good knowledge of analysis and interpretation of data and statistical analysis.

Proficiency in computing data and ability to use various software.

Ability to work effectively within a multi-cultural environment.

Respect department confidentiality code of practice.

Ability to prioritize workload and work independently using own initiative.

Ability to work diligently and accurately on repetitive tasks.

Ability to help in preparing and writing research grants.

Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, including ability to provide analytical verbal and written summaries and rationale to a diverse audience.
