The new EMS Building opened in January 2018.

The department accepts all patients for treatment who are triaged for care in accordance with the Canadian Triage Acuity Scale (CTAS). Patient presentations include: respiratory; cardiovascular; gastrointestinal; neurological; oncologic; genitourinary; traumal OB/Gyn; metabolic crises.

Beds: Core: 47, Triage: 7, Fast Track: 12

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in Nursing (online/distance education programs cannot be considered)

Current nursing (RN) license

Must have a minimum of two years current experience as an RN in ER in a tertiary setting
