Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough evaluations and diagnostics to identify ocular diseases and conditions in patients.

Perform complex surgical procedures, including but not limited to cataract surgery and corneal surgery.

Mentor and guide junior ophthalmologists and support staff to foster professional growth.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance the quality of patient care and optimize workflows.

Engage in continuous professional development and stay abreast of the latest advancements in the field of ophthalmology.

Maintain comprehensive and accurate medical records, adhering to regulatory standards.

Requirements

Medical degree (MD or DO) with successful completion of an ophthalmology residency program.

Board certification in ophthalmology is essential.

A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a comprehensive ophthalmology practice.

Demonstrated proficiency in performing a variety of ophthalmic surgical procedures.

Strong understanding of ocular diseases, treatment options, and patient management strategies.

Exemplary leadership skills to provide mentorship and direction to junior staff.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient engagement.
