SearchPlus HR is seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior consultant podiatrist to join a prestigious private healthcare facility. In this role, you will provide advanced podiatric care to patients, delivering expert diagnosis, treatment, and management of complex foot and ankle conditions.

The senior consultant will be responsible for leading clinical practice within the podiatry department, offering specialist advice, and contributing to service development to enhance patient outcomes. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive and personalized care.

Key responsibilities:

Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of complex podiatric conditions using advanced clinical skills

Provide specialist consultations and develop tailored treatment plans including surgical interventions where appropriate

Lead and develop podiatry services within the private healthcare facility, ensuring adherence to clinical governance standards

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and outcomes

Mentor and supervise junior podiatrists and support staff within the department

Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to research and clinical audits

Educate patients and their families on preventive foot care and management strategies

Requirements

Medical degree in podiatry with relevant licensure and certifications

Extensive clinical experience as a consultant or senior specialist in podiatry, preferably within private healthcare

Proven expertise in managing complex foot and ankle conditions, including surgical competence

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient and multidisciplinary team engagement
