SearchPlus HR is seeking a highly experienced senior specialist in cardiac anesthesia for a prominent position within the private healthcare sector. In this advanced role, you will provide expert anesthesia care for patients undergoing complex cardiac surgical procedures, playing a key role in improving patient outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include comprehensive pre-anesthetic evaluations, the development of tailored anesthesia plans, and the administration of anesthesia during intricate cardiac surgeries such as coronary artery bypass grafts, heart valve repairs, and heart transplants. You will ensure continuous monitoring of vital signs, manage anesthetic complications, and collaborate with the surgical team to optimize patient safety.

This position also offers an opportunity to mentor junior anesthesia staff, contribute to departmental initiatives, and engage in research to foster advancements in cardiac anesthesia.

Requirements

Medical degree with specialization in anesthesiology

Board certification in cardiac anesthesia preferred

A minimum of 8 years of experience in cardiac anesthesia, including complex surgical procedures

Extensive knowledge of cardiac physiology, pharmacology, and anesthesia techniques

Strong leadership and mentoring skills to guide junior staff and promote teamwork

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams

Ability to make critical decisions in high-pressure situations and adapt quickly to changes

Commitment to patient safety, quality improvement, and ongoing professional development
