Key responsibilities
Lead comprehensive patient assessments, including detailed medical histories and physical examinations
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions with an emphasis on evidence-based practices
Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
Supervise and mentor junior medical professionals and interns, providing guidance in clinical decision-making
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and improve service delivery
Participate in and contribute to quality improvement initiatives and community health programs
Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and hospital protocols
Engage in ongoing professional education and training to enhance medical knowledge
Requirements
Medical degree and valid medical license as a senior specialist in family medicine in the UAE
Completion of a recognized residency program in family medicine with board certification
A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in family medicine, ideally in a government or large healthcare institution
Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and managing a wide variety of acute and chronic conditions
Strong leadership and mentorship skills with the ability to guide junior staff effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for quality patient interactions and team collaborations
Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
Ability to handle complex cases and make critical decisions under pressure
Active participation in continuous professional development and research activities in the field of family medicine
