Role Description

The Senior Staff Nurse role is a full-time, on-site position based in Singapore. The responsibilities include providing nursing care to patients pre- and post-surgery, assisting in operating rooms, and ensuring adherence to clinical standards and protocols. The Senior Staff Nurse will oversee patient assessments, administer medications, and provide guidance to junior nursing staff to support their professional growth. Additionally, the role involves maintaining accurate medical records and fostering a collaborative environment with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to achieve optimal clinical outcomes.

Qualifications

Proficient in clinical nursing practices, patient assessment, and post-operative care management

Experience in operating room support, surgical coordination, and compliance with infection control protocols

Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring skills for guiding and supporting junior staff

Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining medical records and documentation

Valid nursing registration and certification in Singapore

Compassionate, patient-focused approach with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Prior experience in a surgical or day surgery setting is highly desirable
