As a cardiothoracic surgeon, you will focus on diagnosing and treating conditions related to the heart and lungs. Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, including reviewing medical histories and performing physical examinations

Order and interpret diagnostic tests to inform treatment decisions

Perform a variety of complex surgical procedures, such as coronary artery bypass grafting and lung resections

Ensure effective pre- and post-operative care for all patients

Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans

Participate in research initiatives and contribute to the advancement of cardiothoracic surgical practices

Education and mentorship of residents and junior medical staff as part of the training program

Requirements

Board certification in cardiothoracic surgery is preferred

Extensive experience in the management and surgical treatment of cardiovascular and thoracic conditions

Proficient in advanced surgical techniques and technologies relevant to the cardiothoracic field

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with patients and healthcare teams

Excellent critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities in high-pressure situations
