Roles & Responsibilities

An established hospital in Sharjah is seeking a skilled Specialist General Surgeon to join its growing surgical team. The role includes elective and emergency surgical procedures within a well-equipped operating theatre environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform laparoscopic and open general surgical procedures

Manage trauma and emergency surgical cases

Conduct pre-operative consultations and risk assessments

Provide post-operative follow-up and wound management

Participate in on-call rotations

Supervise junior medical staff when required

Maintain surgical quality and infection control standards

Desired Candidate Profile

Candidate Requirements:

Specialist qualification in General Surgery

Valid UAE MOH license or eligibility

Minimum 4 years post-specialist surgical experience

Strong operative case volume and procedural competency
