Key responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments and physical examinations of patients presenting with internal medicine conditions.

Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, utilizing evidence-based approaches.

Order and interpret necessary diagnostic tests and imaging studies.

Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs and preferences.

Prescribe medications and provide ongoing management and follow-up for patients.

Educate patients and their families on treatment options, preventive care, and health management.

Collaborate with other specialists and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the hospital.

Stay current with advancements in internal medicine through continuous professional development.

Requirements

Medical degree (MD or DO) and a valid license to practice internal medicine

Completion of an accredited residency program in internal medicine

Proven experience in diagnosing and managing a range of internal medicine conditions

Strong understanding of evidence-based practices and current guidelines in internal medicine

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient and team interactions

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multi-specialty team

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
