SearchPlus HR is seeking a dedicated specialist oncologist to join a government healthcare facility committed to providing excellence in cancer care. In this position, you will be responsible for diagnosing and managing various cancers, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes within the government healthcare system.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate patients with suspected or confirmed cancer through detailed history-taking and physical examination.

Order and interpret diagnostic investigations such as imaging and laboratory tests for accurate diagnosis and staging.

Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans including chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and targeted therapies.

Monitor and assess treatment responses, adjusting management as necessary to ensure optimal care.

Provide counseling and education to patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and supportive care.

Work closely with a multidisciplinary team including surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, and nursing staff to coordinate integrated care.

Participate in government healthcare initiatives aimed at improving cancer care services and outcomes.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Medical degree and board certification or equivalent qualification in oncology.

Proven clinical experience in oncology, preferably within a government or public healthcare setting.

Strong knowledge of current cancer treatment protocols and clinical guidelines.

Excellent communication skills for effective patient interactions and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Ability to work in a resource-constrained environment with adaptability and problem-solving skills.

Commitment to continuing medical education and participation in clinical research is an advantage.

Demonstrated teamwork skills and a patient-centered approach to care delivery.
