Role Overview

Position: Specialist / Consultant Endodontist

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Healthcare Setting: Premium dental clinic / multispecialty dental center

Experience Required: Minimum 3+ years post speciality qualification

Practice Model: Outpatient clinical practice focused on endodontic procedures and restorative support

The successful candidate will be responsible for the diagnosis and management of dental pulp and periapical conditions, delivering high-quality root canal treatments and advanced endodontic procedures.

Key Responsibilities Endodontics

Diagnose and manage diseases of the dental pulp and periapical tissues

Perform root canal treatments (RCT) and retreatments with high precision and success rates

Conduct complex endodontic procedures, including management of calcified canals, curved roots, and previously treated teeth

Perform endodontic microsurgery (apicoectomy) where indicated

Utilise dental operating microscopes and digital radiography for accurate diagnosis and treatment

Manage dental trauma cases, including pulp injuries and root fractures

Collaborate with general dentists, prosthodontists, and oral surgeons for comprehensive treatment planning

Provide pain management and emergency dental care related to pulpal and periapical conditions

Ensure infection control and sterilisation protocols are strictly followed

Educate patients on post-treatment care, oral hygiene, and preventive measures

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and treatment records in line with regulatory standards

Participate in clinical audits and continuous professional development activities

Desired Candidate Profile

Applications are welcome from dentists holding recognised specialist qualifications such as:

UK Specialty Training / MEndo / equivalent

Royal College Certification (Canada)

Australian Dental Council recognised specialist qualification

Arab Board / recognised regional qualifications

MDS / FCPS Endodontics or equivalent recognised specialist qualification

Candidates must meet eligibility requirements for DHA / DOH / MOH licensing. Licensing guidance and support will be provided where applicable.
