We are recruiting a full-time, permanent Staff Nurse to join our team in a small private care facility in

Dublin 16. Reporting to the Care Unit Manager, you will work a structured 4-cycle roster and play a key

role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care while supporting and guiding the wider care team.

Responsibilities

● Deliver high-quality, holistic nursing care tailored to each resident’s needs

● Act as an advocate for residents, ensuring dignity, respect, and person-centred care

● Supervise and support Healthcare Assistants in delivering effective care

● Collaborate with GPs, multidisciplinary teams, and senior nursing staff

● Maintain accurate, up-to-date care plans and clinical documentation in line with HIQA standards

● Monitor, report, and escalate clinical concerns appropriately

● Administer medications safely and adhere to all clinical policies and procedures

● Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support service development

● Assist residents with daily activities, social engagement, and mealtimes where required

● Ensure equipment is used safely and report any faults promptly

Requirements

● Active registration with NMBI (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland)

● Previous experience in care of the elderly desirable but not essential

● Strong clinical judgement and decision-making skills

● Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

● Compassionate, resident-focused approach to care

● Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
