Title: Staff Nurse, LauraLynn House

Hours: Full-time (37.5 hrs per week)

Contract Type: Permanent contract

Salary/Grade: Staff Nurse: €37,788 - €56,032/ ENP Scale: €44,811 - €57,846, as of 01st February 2026 pay scales

Job Closing Date: 29th April 2026

To provide care and support to children with life-limiting conditions and palliative care needs and their families in the family home/community environment that is consistent with the mission, vision, values and strategic plan of LauraLynn, Ireland’s Children’s Hospice.

Essential Criteria - ideally the successful candidate will possess the following:

· Registered or be eligible to register with the NMBI.

· RCN’s require a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience working in a paediatric setting, acute or community setting with children or young people with complex/life-limiting nursing and palliative care needs

· RGN’s/ RNID’s require a minimum of 5 years’ experience, working in a paediatric setting with children or young people with complex/life-limiting nursing and palliative care needs

· Hold a Degree in Nursing or be in the process of completing a degree

· Working knowledge of information technology

· Experience of working within an interdisciplinary team

· Ability to work independently

· Demonstrable experience of working with children with complex conditions and palliative care needs and their families
