A Day in the Life
This position is an exciting opportunity to work with Medtronic's Diabetes business. Medtronic has announced its intention to separate the Diabetes division to promote future growth and innovation within the business and reallocate investments and resources across Medtronic, subject to applicable information and consultation requirements. This separation provides our team with a bold opportunity to unleash our potential, enabling us to operate with greater speed and agility. At Medtronic Diabetes, we are dedicated to improving the lives of people in our community through products that help individuals achieve their health goals, while continually innovating new solutions to address the challenges of diabetes management.
You will have the opportunity to work with healthcare professionals, learn about the latest advancements in diabetes, and contribute to patient care. This internship is a great way to start your career in healthcare while making a meaningful impact to people’s lives.
Internship details:
Start date: April 2026
Location: Based in Tabouk (but could cover Yanbu and Madinah if needed)
Duration: 6 months (with possibility to extend for another 6 months)
Working hours: 40 h/week with flexibility (exams and holiday period)
Work model: hybrid (onsite in the field & remote)
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Provide support and education to doctors, nurses, and patients on diabetes management and our products, addressing their questions and needs.
Participate in patient onboarding sessions and educational campaigns to improve diabetes awareness and care.
Manage consignment inventory in hospitals and ensure timely replenishment of used items.
Assist the logistics team during deliveries to ensure smooth operations.
Travel within the local region to extend education and support efforts.
Desired Candidate Profile
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Recently graduated in biomedical engineering, healthcare, nutrition, health education, or a related field
Fluent in both English and Arabic, with strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Sharepoint)
Excellent organizational abilities with a customer-focused mindset
Eager to learn, develop, and grow professionally
Would be a plus:
Experience working with patients
Interest in Diabetes. Additional training or certifications in diabetes care are a strong plus.
Driving license
