Utilisation Review Nurse – Hybrid | Cork

Location: Cork (hybrid: mix of on site and remote work)

Salary: €50,000 to €55,000 OTE per year

About the Role:

Morgan McKinley Health is working with a leading healthcare organisation to a recruit a full time Utilisation Review Nurse (Hybrid) in Cork.

If you're an experienced nurse looking to step away from direct patient care and apply your clinical expertise in a different way, this role could be the perfect fit.

You'll help improve patient outcomes and hospital efficiency while enjoying better work life balance through a flexible hybrid work model.

In this role, you will:

Review medical claims to ensure appropriate care, setting, and length of stay

Apply clinical guidelines to assess quality and cost

Collaborate with clinicians, hospital staff, and internal teams

Provide expert clinical input across the business

Prepare reports, letters, and presentations

Stay up to date with developments in healthcare and support ongoing team operations

Role Requirements:

Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMBI pin

Minimum 3 years’ of hands on clinical experience

CNM2 or CNM3 experience preferred

Strong clinical judgement and communication skills

Confident using IT systems and working with clinical data

Organised, self motivated, and comfortable working independently
