Key responsibilities

Perform thorough evaluations and diagnostic procedures to assess patients with vascular issues.

Design and implement individualized treatment plans, combining both surgical and non-surgical interventions as appropriate.

Execute a variety of surgical procedures with precision, including endovascular and open surgeries for arterial and venous pathologies.

Monitor and manage postoperative complications, ensuring patients receive comprehensive care throughout their recovery journey.

Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.

Educate patients and families about vascular conditions and treatment options, fostering informed decision-making.

Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to clinical research initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care.

Document patient interactions and treatment procedures accurately, in compliance with relevant regulations and policies.

Requirements

Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.

Completed residency training in general surgery and a fellowship in vascular surgery.

Board certification in vascular surgery preferred or in progress.

A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in vascular surgery.

Expertise in both endovascular and open surgical techniques.

Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication skills and patient-centered approach.

Valid medical license in the state of practice.

Commitment to continuous learning and adapting to advancements in surgical practices.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
